The Emu – Dromaius novaehollandiae – is another interesting and unusual bird.
They are large land bound birds that do not fly but can run really fast!
They can be found on inland plains but also there are coastal emus found around the Grafton NSW coastal districts.
They have extremely long strong legs with 3 toes.
