Strawflowers or Everlasting Daisies are a self seeding native daisy that have papery or straw-like petals.
They create a colourful display in gardens and are easily grown the flowers may also be dried.
The Sturt Desert Pea – Swainsona formosa – is a spectacular and unusual plant of the Pea Family.
It is a prostrate runner and is commonly found in drier outback regions throughout Australia and is named after the early Australian explorer Charles Sturt.
