Native Mistletoe is a partly parasitic plant commonly growing on Eucalypts and Wattles.
It has a weeping growth pattern that blends into the host tree – if you look closely you can see clumps of the mistletoe.
The NSW Christmas Bush is an iconic wildflower for Australians on the East Coast – it’s flowering followed by the red showy bracts that flower from November to December are signs of Christmas being not far away. It is often used to decorate Christmas in Australia.
