Tawny Frogmouth Stare

Tawny Frogmouth Stare

The tawny frogmouth – Podargus strigoides – are interesting and unusual birds. They have piercing stares with yellow eyes and can sit in one position for long periods of time to avoid being seen with their camouflaged feathers against rough tree trunks.
