 Lynette’s design ‘Sturts Desert Pea’ has been published in a Year 7 – 10 English Textbook Viewing and Representing in Context 2. Tutorials were used & adapted from Lynette Weir’s Studio Diary Blogs – Soulsongart & Soulsongart Tutorials for publication as part of the resource book – Visual Arts: A Resource for Units 2A-2B

In 2006 Lynette was approached by the Garden Clinic for an article for their magazine. Lynette’s garden and work was featured in Graham and Sandra Ross’ Garden Clinic Magazine in an article by Rebecka Delforce called ‘Drawn to Natives’.
Lynette has grown an extensive native garden on her suburban block. The garden includes many species including local rainforest plants. Lynette uses many of the plants in the garden for inspiration including growing specific plants to study and photograph even if they only last a small time in the local sub-tropical area of northern NSW, Australia.

Homespun 2009 yearbook which has a focus in this issue on Australian Flora and Fauna. as you can see they featured some of my ‘design art’ images and a Tawny Frogmouth.
