Cassowary Snapshot

Cassowary Snapshot

The Cassowary – Casuarius – large flightless bird is a critically endangered species of Far North Queensland with very few remaining in the wild.

It is also an important species for the regenerating of rainforest through the fruit it eats & the seeds that are deposited in its droppings.

This series of bird linocuts are based around the many photographs I have taken over the years – hence ‘snapshot’.
